About Us

 

KVK, Samastipur has been established with the aim to develop it into a model KVK. Since its inception in July 2004, the Kendra is working toward attainment of this aim and has progressed forward with fast rate. Consequently, the pace of agricultural development of the district has been greatly improved.

The KVK has been mandated to disseminate the improved and appropriate technology based on local need and inputs from progressive farmers through training, front line demonstration, on farm trial, seed production programme, establishment of functional models and entrepreneurship development.
